Any suggestions on tool(s) to design icons? I've done some simple icons for my GPS using paint and would like to be able to add some more icons to better match some common GPS symbols..
Above design tips says 22×22 px, but downloaded icons indicate 32×37.
The tools I've tried don't seem to line up with pixels.

If you submit your icons designed in 22×22, the website actually generates automaticly icons in 32×37 with the borders, shadows, colors and all.
You should not use Paint: Photoshop, Gimp or other professionnal tools are much better.
